Why would Calzaghe travel to Hopkins backyard (that means America, MONKEY ) for LESS money than he made for the Kessler fight?

So let's get this right, the BIGGER standing you attain in world boxing means the LESSER your value becomes?

Like I said, I guess Calzaghe can't eat off a couple of millions. The poor thing.

Ive never bashed Hopkins for bottling a career high payday against Calzaghe, to fight a bunch of nobodies for peanuts, before landing the lottery against little Oscar.

Not exactly a who's who of future hall of famers is it. All champions have these type of fights against guys who aren't really in the running to pick up wins, just picking up paychecks and keeping the fighter busy. Calzaghe is no different.

Who else was there for Hopkins to fight at Middleweight?

He had no one but Roy and they couldnt do numbers and neither ducked the other guy. Joe ducked Glen Johnson many times. But what other Middleweight could Hopkins have fought during his win streak?
