I'm not actually convinced Frank does no the boxing game all that well. He (as a business man) spotted a gap in the market, got into boxing filled that niche, surrounded himself with advisors and "experts" and confers with them on all decisions. Stiill with that advice he plays it very carefully, highlighting his lack of confidence in his field.
I think Frank is just regurgitating some stuff he reads when he tries to put an analysis on these fights. You're right, he did pick Castillo to give Hatton a rough night, it's just sour grapes. I doubt it he wants Ricky to win by the tone of his article.
