Saensak Muangsurin won the WBC light welterweight title in his 3rd pro fight.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

The most recent was that Japanese guy Koki Kameda who won the WBA Light Flyweight title in his 12th fight, at the age of 19, at least that's who sprung to my mind.
I think he vacated to move up though.
Jeff Fenech won the IBF Bantamweight Title in his 7th fight.
Leon Spinks
Saensak Muangsuring
Pete Rademacher
Rafael Lovera
Davey Moore
Jeff Fenech

Didnt Evander Holyfield Beat Qawi in his 12th or 15th pro fight?
12th.Originally Posted by JT Rock
That I know of the record is as follows.
1. Saensak Muangsurin 3 (as noted by killer)
2. Jeff Fenech 7 fights
3. Leon Spinks & Davey Moore 8 fights
4. Nobuo Nashiro 9 fights
It should be noted that these 2 guys did not become champions.Originally Posted by Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker
Quite shocking that Pete Rademacher even managed to knock down Floyd Patterson in only his first pro fight.Originally Posted by CutMeMick
I think Fenech is the least number of wins ,to become a two weight champ , he knocked out Samart Payakaroon at SB.His twelve fight when he became a 2 weight champ , thats got to be a record?
I think you are correct and Fenech holds the record.Originally Posted by Dark Lord Al
Well to be honest I'm not really shocked that he did that to Floyd I mean if you look at Petes amateur career he was very skilled.Originally Posted by Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker
Whats shocking here to me is that he got a shot at the World Title solely by his amateur credentials.
David Reid didn't have too many fights when he won his 154 lb title. About 10 I think.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
