Nigel Benn - this will sound terrible, but my favourite fight of his must be with Gerald. Nigel written off by many before the first bell, put down very early on, given no chance at that point. But he came back. Showed real heart and strength, and displayed all of the qualities that the British are renowned for. Not only a great fighter who would take on anybody, but a true patriot.

That was a great fight, and this is coming from a Corrales fan. I always wonder what would've happened had the doctor not stopped the fight. Corrales was coming on when the fight was stopped.

Eagle - I didn't mention any other nations, nor did I say that heart and strength are qualities that the British have to a greater degree than other nationalities. Your post seems a little paranoid. Are you harbouring grudges from posts that are long gone?
