Mormeck Bell 2 was the fight of the year, set right at the beginning and never touched imo.
Yeah but you always have your own weird taste. I guarantee that you would be the ONLY person who thought Mormeck Bell was better than Kats Earl,Pav-JT,JMM-MAB etc.
Completely agree here with Gamo... Bilbs tho JMMormeck-Bell II was entertaining in the sense that both fighters gassed themselves out.
It was no where near a FOTY when you have Marquez-Vasquez II or Pavlik-Taylor. Both of these fights had skill and a high climax of excitement. While Mormeck-Bell II, IMO was more of 2 big guys who gassed out and managed to survive the distance.

One thing that I've noticed to is that I think people are confusing "FOTY" with "Big FOTY".... For example, tho I think these were all superb fights and by some of my favourite fighters I just can't see them being FOTY.

and I've seen people list others. Again exciting action fights yes BUT to be along side Zale-Graziano I & II, JLC-Corrales I, Gatti-Ward I, Castro-Jackson I. I think they fall short.
