Both fighters landed big shots in round one, but Platov was the more effective. Platov was cut over the left eye by a head clash in round two and was bothered by blood in his eye, even taking a knee at one point. Platov the fought back hard for the rest of the round. Williams came on in rounds three and four, but the cut continued to get worse and the bout was stopped by referee Earl Brown at 2:15 of round four.
Sounds more to me like Platov was doing well till he got cut from the headbutt, and was distracted from then on. Ill have to see the fight though. Probably would have been competitive if it wasnt for the headbutt.
