    What a devastating comeback.
The literal equivalent of a Pernell Whittaker counter Left Hook.

It may seem that you have been unfairly treated...everybody jumping on you like this and everyone with their own putdown, but you brought it on yourself. You blatantly know little about Hatton and make a bold statement without backing it up in any way.

To then make an arguement based on a song sang in unison by about 20,000 fans....
    Thats just desperation.

1 gatti (after he beats pbf he trumps zoo who only has to whip lil ricky boy)--greatest warrior in history of boxing finally gets a chance to shine--would faltten hatton inside 5 rds

2 zoo --- gatti-zoo by the end of the year would be an awesome war --to settle it all at 140--should finish hatton quick in match coming up---my prediction is rd 2

3 pbf--should prob look at 147 pd judah or back down to 135 to face diego again--which may be a totally differnet fight this time around--it would be funny to see pbf get ktfo by gatti then move down and get ktfo by diego---would embarass ricky hatton worse then winky did tito and prob knock hatton tfo

4 viv harris--big underrated------dangerous guy nobody seems to want--apparently he was to young and viable for ricky hatton--would kayo ricky if ricky didint duck him

5 cotto---big for division good fighter--but very beatable as corley let us know--would kayo hatton in 1 rd though--too big strong and athletic--ricky would never go near him

6 witter--another guy like harris nobody wants to fight--another guy ricky hatton ducked --would blister ricky and knock him out

7 corley---give this guy some credit---close split loss against judah, rocked pbf and shook him while going the distance, and roughed up cotto a bit before a very premature stoppage prevented us from finding out if he could have upset cotto--this guy is tough and i think corley would beat hatton via close decision--lack of power keeps ricky in game

8 sharmba mitchell---looked pedestrian against zoo but good give alot of guys a tussle--still 3 yrs away from being an opponent for ricky hatton--hed box his ears off still at this point

9 lovemore ndou--tough vet who will give anyone a tussle ---alot like corley---not washed up enough for ricky--probably win a close decision against ricky

10 oktay urkal-gave harris a tough fight and is solid--another guy who would probably beat ricky hatton of course hes 35 so hes almost ripe for a hatton encounter--id give ricky a 50-50 shot in this one--but rememebr thi guy is underrated and tough--lost close md to harris and went the distance with zoo--which is 10 rds longer then ricky is gonna last

CC. I was just gonna say that LawHoops is not exactly known for his mental capacities and let it go at that but you went out and actually found some proof.

Well, at least Hatton lasted longer than Gatti did. Not to mention they didn't have to get a seeing eye dog to guide Hatton out of the ring, as his eyes were both open, unlike Gatti's. You better be glad Hatton didn't fight Gatti as Gatti would have gotten pounded. It took him 3 fights with a journeyman in Ward to figure out who was better, lol.

And you can't even attend one of the biggest if not the biggest fight of the year in your own country.

Joe Calzaghe v Peter "No-Hoper" Manfredo sold 35,000 tickets, what does that say about the Brit's.

ricky only looks good when he has dead bodies in front of him like zoo, phillips, jlc.....look at the live ones that he has fought recently---mayweather made him look so bad if ricky were his sparring partner he would have been fired, collazo beat him silly, and he barely squeaked by a bum like urango.........

And people on the Gatti payroll were saying after the fact they knew he was going to lose. At least Hatton's people believed in him.
The only thing that makes me uncomfortable is the revisionist history by Camp Hatton.

Prior to the fight, Graham said - repeatedly and emphatically - that Hatton was the bigger man and the stronger man. I'm fairly certain many of you either saw or read the interview where Graham referred to Floyd's "girl hands" and his fine bone structure. Ricky himself consistently asserted that Floyd couldn't hold him off and that if they fought inside, "Floyd would be eaten".

Subsequent to the fight, Graham said "I always said that he wasn't a welterweight. We were moving up in weight."

If you are bigger than your opponent, what is the significance of the weight limit? The fight could have been at the 168 limit or heavyweight. Ricky is the bigger man. Floyd has never been a legitimate WW; he merely toils there for the bigger paydays.

Those inconsistencies from Hatton and Graham are troubling. And may be perceived by some as "an excuse".

    Thoughts?

Collazo beat him silly ?? that was very close fight that could have gone either way. You haven't got a clue about boxing Hatton beat Urango 10 rounds to 2 easily i hardly call that barely beating Urango.

Hatton won some rounds against Mayweather. Made it to the 10th Round.

Gatti took such a solid beating every round that I doubt it'd been that far fetched to score all 6 rounds 10-8 Mayweather.

Had Ricky been in with your boy Gatti, Ricky would have raped him, hence why Gatti went and fought Baldo instead.

That's no different than any other camp...everyone tries to figure out why they lost and in doing so it sounds like they are making excuses.

Arturo Gatti and Ricky Hatton have styles meant to be together....a fight between them could have gone either way but as we saw vs Ward, Arturo was mighty open for body shots and he didn't take them too well.

Ricky - faster, sharper punches, better mover in the ring, hasn't had trouble with B and C level competition

Arturo - bigger (would swell up over 160 for fights at 140 and 147, ask Joey Gamache), better jab, had to dig deeper to win fights

They both have heart galore, I would have loved to see those guys brawl...they also had trouble carrying their power to 147
