He's not hugely hyped, just hugely popular. He energizes the Irish ex-pats and Irish-Americans over here. I've never met a single person who rates him any higher than he really is, but he's fun to watch and well promoted.

But he's not only popular he's hyped also. If you view Duddy without the volume on your television you'll see he's nothing exceptional. A nice rounded fighter sure, but as of yet he's got nothging special in the arsenal.
