It made Showtime's commentary look inspiring.

BUT, and this is important, I think I know the reason why there is no Michael Buffer, Jim Lampley, and Larry.

They get paid too much. I think HBO's new lineup of good matchups are coming only because they took the budget away from hiring those higher paid commentators and showmen.

I also think they took the bugdet away from having name fighters fight on BAD. Recently, it was Winky, Mosely, Barrera taking easy fights, but still getting a good payday.

Even though the commentating was horrible. I give HBO credit for putting the budget on fighters that need exposure, rather than putting it on Jim Lampley, Mosley, etc, on a one sided matchup.

Although, HBO should have done their homework and looked for better commentators.
