It was the first time Holyfield was behind in a fight, and his 10th round performance is possibly one of the greatest comeback's i've ever seen in a single round. Maybe Holyfield had better performances like in rematch with Qawi. But in this fight Holyfield was just amazing, i know he had to dig deep in his first fight with Qawi but i can't even put it into words every time i see this fight it gives me goosebumps.

Right, but then you didn't answer the question of thread. because he had some brilliant performances prior to Bowe I.

It was his first fight against elite fighter, i think out boxing a very respected Lightweight champion like Ramirez when Whitaker only had 15 pro fights is more impressive.

I think the Santana fight is you know where download it and watch then compare the performances and tell me what you think.

I agree i think how he handle James Buddy McGirt is for certain debatable on better performances, but at that time Chavez had an aura of invincibility and no one expected Taylor to out box Chavez as easily as he was doing it, so on that i rate it slightly higher.

I can't debate that as either performance could easily be seen as better then the other.

I understand what your saying but imo out boxing an ATG like Arguello after 12 rounds is superb, thats why i rate it higher because of the name Arguello is makes it that little bit more special, he was superb that night if only he didn't use up everything he had in the 12th maybe the outcome could of been different.

OK, but you gotta understand that if you are saying that Ruben was outboxing an ATG, your saying this like if people already knew Alexis was an ATG.... At that moment in time people I would say just saw it as Ruben outboxing some kid who had shown some skill against Medal whe he got a shot at the title. If you say Ruben was out boxing an ATG it sounds as if you (but you werent born yet) already knew Alexis would be or was an ATG already. That is why I say Ruben had already looked brilliant prior to that fight.
