Regarding the point deduction of Hatton.

I don’t know but to me, it looks like a double standard. Cortez, himself even stated that he didn’t allow Hatton to fight his fight. It also sounds to me as though he is not even sure that blow behind the head even landed. He also claims that Floyd was not using his elbow as a weapon? OMG! I should post that one where he drives it into Hatton's jaw. It was a very dirty nasty intentional elbow shot to Hatton's jaw. Who want's to see it?

it was a strange performance by the ref , Cortez usually is very good that is a red flag right there ! .. Cortez left question marks in my mind. Something fishy about all that momentum breaking for no reason . I am of the opinion that Hatton was not going to be allowed to win that match no matter what. It just wasn’t in the script, had Hatton knocked Mayweather down, I believe that Cortez would have taking another point away from Hatton for something, you could sense it. the whole front row stood up " Cortez get out of the match already " I believe that Cotrtez’s interference was partially to blame for Hatton getting cut in the 3rd. Clearly flagrant abuse by the refer . It got Hatton off his game, fucked with his head, . Also funny how Floyd went out and gave Cortez a big ole hug and kiss after the match. yeah Boi

anyway this is how a ref should take charge of a match if you got the balls for it !
