The bad thing for Showtime is most of those fighters on those suggestions have fought for HBO and will most likely rather fight for HBO than Showtime. A couple of my thoughts:

-If you compare those fights with what HBO is already offerring for 2008, it's still no contest. HBO is providing us with Trinidad vs Jones, Chambers vs Povetkin, Pavlik vs Taylor II, Pacquiao vs Marquez II, Klitschko vs Ibragimov, Diaz vs Katsidis, and De La Hoya's supposed farewell year fights. Sure showtime is officially showing us some good fights, but HBO is just too much for them.

-C'mon, Cory Spinks to help a network have a comeback year? Enough said!

-David Diaz vs Casamayor: Casa is no longer a draw. With the robbery against Santa Cruz, his sun has set.
