Its more likely to happen if lacy is done as ive never seen some1 who claims there the best at their weight avoid so many fighters, nd the other week he beat a nobody and claims his performance proves that hes the best. I agree if lacy fights kessler hell get a beating nd i have to say ive only seen 4 of jeffs fights but judging by the ones ive seen hes very predictable nd will get outboxed by the likes of bute, kessler nd mundine but might be able to slug it out nd win with andrade, miranda nd froch.

    Kess all the way....

IMO more skilled and technically sound then Lacy. I think Kess comeback is gonna be an exciting one. Fighting Lacy would be good for a comeback fight. I hope that Kess vs. Froch comes thru in 08.

What did you think of Mundine's performance on Monday night and what are the rumours about his next bout. Did he say anything afterwards about who he's targeting?
hey mate. Well he said if Danny Green wins the light heavy weight title he will move up to light heavy and fight him, something which he will easily win again. But Danny isn't going to beat Stipe Drews. So hes looking at fighting Bika in the US. and then moving onto either Lacy or Bute, whatever fighter still is undefeated. Then he is going to challenge Kessler.

On Monday night he fought a cab driver. He was a bit rusty but he had a while out of the ring. If he prepares himself right, he can win any fight in the super middleweight division, presuming he is on top of his game.

I don't see it that way at all, Kessler is going to give Lacy a one sided beating.
I agree with Ice on this one...Kessler will eat Lacy alive.

I honestly believe that Calzaghe basically ruined Lacy.

Am I the only one of this frame of mind?

Calzaghe and circumstances MAY have ruined Lacy.

He's still fighting and maybe he can turn it around but not fighting like he did vs manfredo

But still there is no reason for Kessler to take on Lacy and not another fighter especially given Lacy's last performance....I could see Lacy and Andrade fighting that would be OK but not Lacy and Kessler, there is no reason for it

I thought he looked terrible against both Tsypko & Manfredo.

Well the rotator cuff injury didn't help (and now everyone should see why Vitali took a loss to Byrd because of what it does to you)

He has ring rust and he's gunshy....he seems to be perpetually trying to get set to punch and he's never letting his hands go

Lacy-Allan Green or Jaidon or Bika or anyone like that wouldn't be much easier but he can't start at the bottom again, he's 30

Why do people think Fench is so good he beat a very old Reid and got rocked in the process. I think French if he beats the wbc guy he is facing should fight Bika and if he wins fight Kessler or Bute.
