In terms of opponents fought Mayweather has Mosley, Cotto, and WIlliams left before he starts getting the credit he deserves for how good he is. I see all of these tough fights, and the onis is on Mayweather, but I could see him being scared to a degree of Cotto because he thought COtto was going toget KO'ed early by Mosley, but that didn't happen.

I agree about Mayweather needing to beat Cotto, but you can scratch Wiliams (until he beats a few top fighters, at least) and Mosley off of that list.

Mayweather would/should get no more credit for beating a 36 year old Mosley at 147 then he got for beating Delahoya at 154, especially when you factor in that Mosley is coming off of a loss to Cotto.

Think about it, if Mayweather beats Cotto, are people gonna say that he is ducking Mosley if he doesn't fight him? Of course not.

As for Paul Williams.............

All he's done is beat up on an outclassed Antonio Margarito that was never really a major player in the welterweight division. Paul Williams needs a few TOP fighters on his resume before people can start saying that Mayweather needs to fight him. Personally, I think that Paul Williams is gonna be real good, but he's a real big guy and I don't see him staying at welterweight too much longer.
