Jermain Taylor fought the best guy out there, go beat and there is no shame in how he got beat! He didn't run, he didn't hide, he didn't make any excuses!

Where is people's respect for a FIGHTER? Maybe he got the benefit of the doubt from the judges vs Winky or Hopkins or whoever....but he didn't complain, he didn't make excuses, and he didn't really take a break in competition.....sure people talk about Spinks but hey he's a decent fighter and he has a very awkward style....Ouma is just all heart and everyone knew that and yeah he should have put on better showings vs those guys.

People might not like Jermain's personality and that's fine but I F****** dare anyone to not respect him as a fighter...he stepped up and has fought the best....what more do you want out of a fighter? People might give me some smart a** replies but they can just F*** off because I don't buy any of this "I hate Jermain" bullshit......I am probably the biggest hater of Floyd Mayweather Jr in the world but I respect his skill and I respect him when he truly fights like he did vs Hatton.
actually taylor did say that he was complaining about being tired after the second round, because he said that he wasted too much energy in trying to finish him, and it took alot out of him after the fight........but i dont think it was a excuse this was more of the truth...
