Firstly, In regards to the Hatton fight. Knowledge is power...
Iv said it somewhere here already. I think this fight was past its sell by date. To me, it stopped making sense the moment Mayweather knew he could beat LightMiddles.

Secondly, we have to remember that both Cotto and Mayweather are at tottally diferent stages in their carrers. Personally, i like the way Cotto's career is comming along. He seems to have been let off the leash by Bob Arum and after his mega win over Mosley. It would make sense to fight Mayweather.

If Mayweather were to retire now, id have rubbish his masquerade as a WW. Regardless of his one fight at 154.
