Ricky is a tough kid, and he will get past this.

However, he won't be the same fighter mentally. You can never re-capture that inner feeling of invincibility. When he is training (or fighting), he now knows that he is one good shot from serious trouble.

It was easy to disregard the 12th round of Collazo as fatigue/short notice/bigger man/ etc. But Floyd was neither a particularly big man, nor a particularly heavy hitter (PBF isn't heavy-handed like Zab Judah at 140/147). And even the earlier shots were buckling RH.

I'm sure Ricky had a tremendous amount of confidence (rightly so) in his chin and durability after facing down Kostya Tszyu, who was a killer. Now, some of that confidence would be (again, rightly) shaken.
