Mundine was on the back page of todays paper quoted as saying Hamden is his 'muslim brother'. They have been mates since they were 15. Sounds like he's throwing him a crumb if you ask me.

I just can't believe people still pay to watch Mundine fight these guys.

And what is with the WBA? I just heard Green has to fight some unknown Argentinian by April in his WBA mandatory. I mean, I think it's great that Danny has the satisfaction of being able to sleep at night calling himself the light heavyweight champion of the world but the reality is thus: he beat a bum to win the title, now he has to beat another bum to keep it. The sooner the boxing public at large disregard sanctioning bodies the better off the sport will be.
Yeah the WBA is getting pretty weak imo. They have the weakest champions and their champions make the easiest defences of all the major belts. I mean Gavin f#ckin Reese is WBA champion. And Valero is defending against guys who dont stand a chance.
