Well BB when I read Ricardos question I assumed he ment skilled (Like slick boxers a la Perenell Whitaker, Pep etc. etc.)
Slickness and that type of skill.
If the question was just skills that can be interpreted in many ways for example what your saying it took JCC's skills to get him thru Taylor.
Eriks skills to get him through MAB and Pac.
I just assumed he ment skills like finess fighters. I'm not looking at records or accomplishment I'm thinking and replaying fighters in my head and their styles. I'm not basing the list on who can beat who I'm just listing them on skills which I interpreted as I said slick boxers.

If someone posts who's the most skilled American fighters? I'd post:
Pernell
PBF
RJJ
etc. etc. etc.

Heres my top 10.

1. 'Finito' Lopez
2. Salvador Sanchez
3. Gilberto Roman
4. Ruben Olivares
5. Miguel Canto
6. JMM
7. MAB
8. Zaragoza
9. Paez Sr.
10. Mijares

Honor mentions to: Montiel, Castillo, Munoz, Melchor Castro, Cazares.

*Theres also other fighters whom I've only seen a fight or 2 on and have read some things on them from what I gather they were exceptional fighters: Kid Azteca, Juan Zurita, Raul Macias, Rodolfo Casanova.
