I think Nigel Benn has to be in the top three, purely and simply because in an era when the Americans thought Brirish fighters were terrible, Benn would take on anybody and win (abroad). If he could have been sharper with his jab I think he would have been unbeatable at the time. My top ten would be:

Lennox Lewis (not entirely British, but all class)
Nigel Benn (strongest will I've ever seen)
Ricky Hatton (special - you'll see)
Joe Calzaghe (still not convinced)
Chris Eubank (even though he's a twat)
Naseem Hamed (could have been higher, but doing a Lucan after Barrera?)
Nicky Piper (know it all cunt)
Duke McKenzie (better than he looks)
Paul Ingle (exciting and sharp)
Clinton Woods (perseverence makes the difference)

Can you spot the odd one out? This has made me think how poor British boxing has been, but it also shows how it is improving as we have so many title holders now. I tried to keep away from working fighters, as they still have much to prove. I think Hatton and Calzaghe have already done enough to be HOF's, however. In place of Piper, I'll have Frankie Gavin.
