While there's no doubt Con is extremely talented, I don't see him as the super prospect he's made out to be. His defense is weak and I think his chin is weaker. I don't think it's a coincidence that he has not been in with even a decent puncher. I think his team is hiding something. And until he proves me wrong, I look at him as just a fraud. A con. I know people are going to say he's still early in his career. But I don't see it that way. When your as hyped as Con was/is things are expected at a much quicker pace. Floyd Mayweather, Koki Kameda, David Reid, Fernando Vargas, Eagle Kyowa were all highly hyped when they turned pro. And they became champions early in there careers. I see no reason why the same shouldn't be expected of Con.
To be honest, most of the guys on the forum agree with your assessment, I've heard no one call him a super prospect.
On his opponents being weak punchers, I'm not sure who people think he should be in with at this stage of his career, of the guys you mentioned, only Floyd really set the world alight, Vargas and Reid in particular did not hang as well as they could have if they were taken along a little more cautiously, another you could add to the list is Bautista.

Anyway, since it's been a short time since his last fight don't think this is too bad an opponent, as long as they keep him as busy afterwards. As for Thaxton, Khan will batter him, but with Thaxton's promoter it will be difficult to make.

I agree, it looks like this guy is feather fisted. Just have to hope he has come to box like Willie Limmond did.

Warren has to keep Kahn unbeaten to 20 fights. So his 21 can be for a world title. So after this one just 4 more and then we can see him in against some really challengers i hope.

Anyone know who the highest ranking light weight he has fought was?

I mean Martin Kristjansen is just scrapping into the top 50. And Earl was about top 70
