Hey Gents,
Urijah is definitely the premier 145 pounder in the world at the moment. The guy is an awesome, well-rounded fighter and a "machine" through and through. His recent victory over a game Jeff Curran proved that once again. However, as his lone loss to Tyson Griffin showed, weight does makes a difference and plays a significant role in combat hence the reason for weight divisions. With that said, I think Urijah should stay in the WEC at 145 pounds for awhile and elevate that division with the masses. He is the lone superstar there right now and has the skill, talent, and charisma to carry it on his back. Moreover, there are some serious 145 pounders like Jens Pulver that will give Urijah a challenge in the coming years. If Urijah and other fighters of his ilk (who hopefully come into the fold) and are able to bring significant attention to his division, I believe the UFC will someday relent and establish a 145 lb division for the likes of Urijah. I think they're just waiting for more talent to enter the ranks at that division before they do.

Take Care,
Lito
