Mundine is a very skilled fighter who,for whatever reason, has faced soft opposition for a long time and needs to step it up. ESPECIALLY as 168 is such a hot division right now!

Yeah see if it was debate about them or writing an article then thats when im unbiased. But if someone is baggin them it would be wrong for me to join in lol . I do agree mundine needs to step up his competition, his personality before fights is a bit annoying but i love how he fights and he got the skill to go all the way. Its quite frustrating watching a man who can make an impact on the division keep fighting nobodies.

Now Kessler has lost his super title does he have no title at all?

Was Mundine's regular title given back to Kessler and Mundine made number 1 contender or did Mundine get promoted to 'super champ' and Kessler to number 1 contender?

Do the WBA no longer have a 'super champ' and if not do they still have a regular champ?

And what about Calzaghe, he beat Kessler so is he the 'super champ'?

If so then surely Kessler should be the regular champ and Mundine contender as Mundine was made regular champ for being runner up to Kessler.

    Man I'm confused
Calzaghe is Super Champion, Mundine is regular champ, and Kessler holds no title at all (he is now ranked 4 by the WBA - after Danilo Haussler!).

Which also means that if/when Calzaghe abandons his 168 titles, then Mundine will be the only/real WBA champ. So, as I've written on here before, it makes a lot sense 'business-wise' for Mundine to fight bums for a while, and then wait to really step it up until he is granted the real title. Hamdan is still a bit of a let-down though.

    What was his excuse before

If he was some crap fighter this would be fine, considering he's a top five guy at his weight, eh not so much.
