Well, for starters, he was involved in one of 3 best fights of the year in 2007, a fight that set the all-time attendance record for Madison Square Garden.
Basically Judah is getting his shot's all the time for being a good loser.
In some ways, yes. Zab isn't an elite guy, but he has proven that when he has a big fight, he will show up in-shape, and when he's in-shape he can give top fighters a real run for their money.

I don't see how anyone could watch Cotto-Judah and feel like Judah didn't belong there. It was a great fight that was highly competitive. People ripped Floyd for fighting Judah even after Zab lost to Baldomir, but Zab gave Floyd a much more competitive fight than Baldomir did.

People keep whining about Zab getting chances (not you Gamo, just in general), but does anyone doubt that Margarito-Judah would be an exciting fight?

Totally disagree early rounds were competitive but after about 3rd or 4th round it was one sided fight. And Judah got battered from pillar to post.

I like watching Judah fight but i do think he gets chances when he doesn't deserve them. The last good fighter he beat was Cory Spinks in 2005.
