Pavlik was the number 1 contender and the bout was ordered. At the press conference Miranda spent most of the time calling out Jermain Taylor and saying that Taylor was avoiding him.
I think Miranda knew he didn't have much time left at Middleweight.

Pavlik and Miranda are 2 of my favourite fighters and I hope they do have a rematch at some point.
