looks like a bullshit move to me and I've defended the guy at times. After the ridiculous display he put on after the Feliciano fight, and now seeming like he's trying to forget he ever had a fight with Williams lined up, come the F*** on.

I agree... But the funny thing is although he seem's to be calling everyone but PW out, Williams is actually the top WW who I'd give Cintron the best shot to beat or at least impose his power upon.. Cotto or Margarito would put him in the ER imo, Mayweather would just outbox him, even Clottey I'd pick to put a hurt on him. Paul doesn't hit hard enough to do the same kind of damage, and has a leaky defence, therefore you'd figure that's Kermit's one shot to unify at the moment. But he'd rather fight a guy currently without a title, who already beat the piss out of him, and just lost to Williams. Strange... He must see either a weakness in Margarito, or strengths in Williams, that I don't.

Excellent points but I think his wanting to fight Margarito is just one of those things. It's like a nightmare you can either run away from or confront and Kermit wants to confront it. I'd still rather see him unify first but if he wants to get beaten up again,that's fine by me too. He didn't mention the guy he was supposed to fight:PW OR his mandatory:Josh Clottey.

Yeah, I don't disagree with that. Maybe he thinks Cotto's chin is vulnerable but I think he gets an ass kicking in that one.

I wouldn't be absolutely shocked if he hurt Williams with a right and somehow won the fight. I would think it would be more likely though that Williams' ouput puts Cintron into a shell defensively but I agree that he's got an as good or better shot against Paul than anybody else.

I don't think Cintron has much of a chance to be honest, Williams has took flush shots of big punchers like Walter Dario Matthysse, Antonio Margarito. Cintron struggles with pressure fighting like he did in his last fight. Williams has some of the most amazing work rate i've ever seen he would break Cintron's will round about 6th round and stop him late on.

I think Williams height/reach might be intimidating to Cintron, and maybe he thinks he has no chance ?? but Margarito is also massive Welterweight himself so i can't understand why he would want Margarito either. Because just like Williams, Margarito has amazing work rate but he also hits much harder than Williams. Maybe he is hungry for revenge ?? or like you said sees a weakness ?? but i can't see Cintron taking advantage of Margarito flaws.

Clottey doesn't hit harder either i think Williams would have easier time with Cintron than Clottey would.

I do have to defend my man Cintron.He's a PA guy.Some of you who call this I guy a bum I must ask why?I mean he did lose to Margarito,BUT he did have a broken hand and wasn't even fighting for 9 months after he broke his hand.Let's not forget fighting Teddy Reid and than jumping into a championship bout with Margarito after that long of a layoff.I must say one thing BAD MANAGEMENT.No that he is broken away from his old promoters and has been working with E-man and shown nothing but improvement.I will pick him to stop Margarito early if they fight, within 4 rounds.

Cintron really needs to get his head on right if he hopes to remain a force and maintain status..He has all of the tools and should Imo be 3 times better that he actually Is.He Is Fragile mentally (forget the hands) and seems aloof and really unfocused.Fought a dumb fight last time out,Ignored manny,and made a Grade c fighter look like a legit title contender Imo.
Should Steer clear Of Margarito,That type of beat down and Shelling at the hands of Tony will Have Cintron asking himself questions he wont be able to answer And Margarito knows it.He was not just beat...He was Owned.Cintron needs to dry his Farking eyes,Quit over thinking s!!! and unify ALL of his tools. I don't get all the animosity toward Cintron. Granted, the loss to Margarito was shameful and one-sided. But since then, he seems to have gotten his head on straight. He's with Emanuel Steward now, and that can only help round him out as a fighter. After Margarito, he won a hard fought battle with a tough David Estrada. Not long ago he annihilated the once-defeated Walter Matthysse in scary fashion. And although he hurt his hand in the process, he fought and beat a tremendously tough Jesse Feliciano. Just what in all of the above warrants all the Cintron hate?
