It's funny how you say this and forget that Mayweather also has never faced a fighter like Trinidad. The Corrales fight was at 130, this is at 147 and with all respect to the man Corrales ain't in Tito's league.

Guys this is not a p4p comparison. Its a 147 match up. It's Mayweather a couple of divisions over his best against Trinidad at his best division. It might be an unfair comparison but the point brazillianbomber is trying to make is that Mayweather has not yet prooven he can hang with the great Welterweights and much less have an easy night with probably the best puncher in the division sinse Hearns. And when I say puncher I don't only mean he hits hard, which he does, I mean he had the complete arsenal, he had fast hands and was very accurate. Not to mention he was a dedicated body puncher as a welterweight.

Maybe not but Mayweather has dealt with all kinds of pressure fighter's and beaten all of them pretty comfortably, except for 1st Castillo fight when he had injured shoulder.

Look at the trouble David Reid was giving Tito for 6 rounds with his speed, the only difference is that Reid had poor defense, and is nowhere even close to Mayweather in speed, defense, ETC.

It would be a tough fight but Mayweather would win it, Tito is too 1 dimensional to beat someone like Mayweather.
I'm sorry ICE but I alwais hated that 1 dimensional argument. Like if that simply explained everything and ment without a doubt that any real good fighter could beat him.

If Mayweather could handle Tito's preasure and two fisted power for 12 rounds than maybe he would win. But what makes you so sure he could.

JT said that Mayweather's style would be a nightmare for Tito. Well I say Tito's style would be a nightmare for Mayweather.

A bigger guy with a good jab and enough power in both hands to change the fight in one punch. An efficient fighter who made his career as a stalker and finisher. Tito had one close fight in his entire WW career and that was because of one thing, and it was not movement, it was DLH's jab. A punch that Mayweather seldom uses. Though it is a good jab when he does.

Anyways I wish I could continue this great debate with you fine people but I gotta go. Be spending the weekend at my folks house and probably won't get the chance to post for 3 or 4 days. I'll be happy to continue then.

Happy New Year everybody.

What i mean is that Tito never has a plan B, and against someone like Mayweather who has worked out all kinds of different style's that doesn't sound too good for Tito IMO.

I've seen Mayweather deal with all kinds of pressure fighters, and he has beaten them all comfortably, swarmer's, patient pressure, ETC.

I disagree with that it wasn't only Oscar's jab, it was Oscar's movement as well because it didn't allow Tito to get set.
