Interesting but the reason Roy Jr. split with his father a long time ago was a difference of opinion on how to fight southpaws. I wonder if after the loss, his father pulled out the ol "I told you so" speach.
I know RJJ was on ESPN once talking about that saying his dad had the worst plan to fight southpaws. RJJ said if he would have fought that way against any soutpaw he'd struggle to win. He also said he wasn't sure if his dad was saying/doing those things intentionally or not...
