Well don't forget, wild animals are predators{or prey}, not fighters, so it is usually decided by the size of an animal and true battles are rare. A cougar has no chance against a grizzly, and the grizzly knows it, as does the cougar. The only time animals will truly fight for extended periods are when defending young, and even then some will hightail it. Some of the fiercest animals in the world are the smallest: ants, doves{the symbol of peace}, bees, and will defend their lives and homes to the death. Check out the Komodo dragon though; that is a bad mofo!!
