I am no PeTA supporter but I am 100% fighting animals.....even bullfighting isn't very good, although at least the bulls get a shot at the matadors, can't say the same for the dogs or the chickens.
Not to piss on your parade, but even the bulls don't get a fair shot at the matador. Like Russell Crowe in the Gladiator, the vast percentage of bulls actually get cut somewhere inconspicuous a few hours beforehand, and/or are drugged.
That sound sensible it would be outrageous to put human life at unnecessary risk just for the sake of entertainment.
Flippin heck man, that's the biggest crock of sh*t since I heard George W trying to explain the war on Iraq. What's worse than putting human life at risk for entertainment? PRETENDING too....
Nah man you're crazy. Imagine taking the kids for a nice family day out at the bull fights and you end watching a man get gored to death

It would be blatently irresponsible on the part of the organisers to allow the possibility of such a thing to happen before young innocent eyes.

Wound or tranqualise the bull beforehand and the matador can still make an entertaining show in slaying the creature but with a far reduced chance of being killed and ruining the show for everybody.
I've got to tread fairly careful, as my brother's wife is Spanish, but when it comes to bullfighting they're a bunch of barbarians. If I went to the bull fights it seems there's little point if there's no danger. And what's more entertaining than a pompous man dressed in ridiculous clothes get put on a skewer?
