The way you have this defined leaves the door wide open...Not sure if I am getting the meaning correct but I would say James Toney and Lennox Lewis
Hidden Content IN CASE THEY ALL FORGOT WHAT REAL HEAVYWEIGHT POWER WAS!!!

Offense making a good defense Ice? Glenn johnson has a little of both.alot of pressure but slips and dips alot. And no im not saying he is a great, just popped up.
James Toney, but he really mastered the art of timing a round out.Picked his spots but could lay back alot also.

    Roy Jones Jr.
George Foreman (2nd coming. That X-bow thing was pretty effective. He never went down, which is more that you can say about his first act.)

    Its got to be
    Duran
    then
    Tyson

Roy didn't really use defensive skills offensively, he just used good timing and domination.

Interesting Topic, I think I know what you mean, so the ones that come to mind immeidately are as follows:

    Roberto Duran,
    Ruben Olivares,
    Manny Pacquiao,
    Julio Cesar Chavez,
    Azumah Nelson,
    and maybe Henry Armstrong.

My understanding is fighters who come forward relentlessly and don't get hit that often?

Over the holidays I was watching his career (for like 20th time)
But it's pretty known that JCC was a fighter who was willing to take 2 to 1 shots. Meaning he didn't care if you hit him with 2 shots so as long as he hit you with 1. It showed throughout his career from as early as the 'Azabache' Martinez fight (which is IMO in his top 3 performances) JCC did have defensive skills but more times then often he decided to trade shots without caring much how often he got tagged.

True enough. However, upon watching some early fights against Medina and ramirez that his head movement was greatly underrated. To a lesser extent he showed a bit in fights like juan la porte.
Have you got all his fights mick?

Joe Frazier was pretty good at coming foward and making you miss.
