After fighting for so many years why would he suddenly wear a different kind of socks? As he was wearing them, didn't he notice they were different? That is the reason why I list him as a boxer that came up with a lame excuse to what JMM did to him in that fight which many thought should be a JMM victory.

*sigh* Oh well, we'll see what happens in their rematch. A fight boxing fans deserve from two good fighters who had an action packed match. Can't wait to see what happens.
Often a fighter may wear a new brand/type of equipment in training and find it ok. The detrimental aspects and disadvantages of the item of equipment is only fully understood during the fight itself.
