If he had absolute brutal power that would be something, but he has only good power. If he had faster hands than Floyd that would be a thing although Judah has faster hands than both of them and they both beat Judah. If he could move his feet with Floyd that would be something special, or if he defended like Floyd. What specifically does he do so well that it will win him the fight? Cotto is a very good and well rounded fighter, just nothing special IMO and not someone who will beat Floyd IMO.
You are right. Cotto does not posses superman power, I agree. He still has the magic which you fail to see. His opponents fail to see it too, until it is way too late and the trick has been performed on their @ss. It is not what you have seen that leads me to believe Cotto can beat PBF, it is what you have not seen that can beat him. Cotto knows how to land his punches unlike Hatton. Hatton was always throwing his punch high into the air. Cotto knows how to neutralize a fighter who ducks so low and can also neutralize the shoulder roll. I have seen it and Floyd and Roger will be in for a shock when Cotto sends Floyd to the corner frustrated. For the first time, you will not hear Roger tell Floyd "KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING" I think we will hear something more like "Oh Shiet" How did this stupid motha phuka solve the riddle?" The answer? Grooming and preparation.
