Must be some kind of hard man to even let them fight i have a 11 month german sheperd who has taken a dislike to my little rescue dog and she got him outside one day and nearly killed him i was hitting her and screaming at her he was covered in punture wounds and could not walk. I was shaking and am now paranoid she is going to kill next time and i for one would not like to be in that situation again i was terrified.
thats honestly horrible mate. I hope you never have to experience that agen....very sad to say the least.

woodlice, flies, spiders but they are scum and mosquitoes but they attacked me first. Leave me alone I leave you alone.

Accidentally killed a mouse and felt terrible. Curiously I have no problem killing people

Yes, I hunt and fish....and I don't do it for "the joy of killing" I can assure you.....and when I am fishing it's mostly catch and release, if I ever keep what I catch it's because we're having a fish fry

I love the way people think it's fine to kill animals as long as it's not the killing aspect that they enjoy.

Last time I checked they don't take into account whether or not a murderer enjoyed killing his victims or not into account when delivering sentances.

If you hunt animals and kill them on some level you are enjoying it, else why do it?

I don't see any difference to a man who likes to watch two animals fight becuase it stimulates his adrenaline and produces an excited feeling in his body to someone who wants to eat an animals flesh and enjoy the sensation of the animals fats and juices running down their throats.

Animals died just the same in either case, and ultimately for the same reason, because some human wanted some pleasure or satisfaction that necessitated the death of the animal.

The dogfighting that's involved with what vick did is unnatural.. hunting is natural

vick forced the dogs to fight, killed them if they lost or survived, shot them up with steroids, starved them, electrocuted them, repeatedly slammed them on their heads until they were dead. Vick would steal people's small dogs, duck tape their snouts and toss them into a pit with one of his crazed pit bulls...Personally I feel as if 23 months for him isn't enough. I would have rather taken one his youngest relatives preferably his small son and tossed him into the pit with my 175 pound Akita after starving him for a week....only then would vick and or people that support that inhumane shit that he was involved with get the point.

I've had dogs all my life, not one of them was friendly with people, two of them would fight each other all the time (never to the death) they'd stop on their own if i didn't break it up...

Well Bilbo yes animals die in the end but the keys are as follows

#1 they don't suffer as much...I can't imagine any form of dying not hurting at all but being shot, maybe just in my mind would be a better death than being mauled or being hanged or drowned or being slammed on the ground

#2 Hunting and fishing provides food for people which is a NEED. Dog fighting provides entertainment to a sick few and entertainment is a WANT. Wants you can live without.

#3 You choose the animals you kill and don't kill and humans as the apex preadator in certain areas HAVE to hunt to protect the environment and the species themselves as having too many is just as bad as having too few.

Hunting in the western world is a want not a need Lyle. Are you seriously telling me you have to go out to the forest to hunt for some food else you and your family will starve?

I mean geeze, I figured you for a redneck but not a hillybilly living out in the wild miles away from civilisation

By the way, I can see your point but I'm bored and irritated and I gain some small enjoyment from writing antagonistic provacative spiel I am the site's resident troll after all.

I don't have to but venison is damned good and it's not pumped full of hormones like most cattle. Also the deer population has too few apex preadators and they would grow out of control if their weren't hunters.

If people hunted for their food it would reduce their carbon footprint you GreenPeace hippy asshole

That's cool and dandy with me, although I'd rather have mine made from a posh animal. Cat's are so common. Tiger cubs would be a much better material. I'd buy one then.

I would much rather go after those who want to go to war and commit war crimes.

    Phuk a dog.

mike vick got what he deserved.
    Rich man breakin the law..
    Mike Vick = Friggen idiot
If it was you or I we would get locked up too, so y not him. He should be ashamed of himself. A grown as man acting like a dumbshit.

However the idea that lesser crimes should be ignored because there are bigger "issues" to deal with is well, irresponsible.
