True, but he was also coming off that injury, which has seemingly taken a lot out of him. It is likely something he will never really overcome.. It's unfortunate, but I really didn't see much left when he fought Manfredo... He looked truly awful considering his previous form, made me think anyone his size with any ability who actually wanted to fight could whip him. Manfredo could have easily taken that fight, hell it was close as it was and he didn't even want to be there after a half knockdown. If that was someone with a fighters heart like Tito has, they would have taken it to Jeff, badly.
Good points I guess but I thought Manfredo looked worse. Here was a golden oppertunity for him,to get a big name on his resume,a winnable fight and the guy stops using the effective gameplan, and spends more time looking at the clock than winning the fight, which he was doing so easily in the first few rounds.Jeff had the injury, ring rust and looked even bigger(if that was possible) thus looking so horrible. I can cut him some slack,Manfredo,no way!

Yeah, you're right about the Tito point. He would have taken it to Jeff bigtime!
Oh sure, but Manfredo's never been more than a decent fighter, in the scheme of things he's a nothing opponent at 168, nobody cares what he does from now on.. And the fact that he looked so horrible only makes Lacy's performance that much worse... THat was kind of my point... That an uninterested Peter Manfredo, who looked bad anyways, could take Lacy to a close decision without even standing up to him and fighting at any point.. That was just a god awful fight, don't know how I sat through that whole card, the Ponce de leon fight was even worse.
You actually sat through that?!I saw it the next morning and could forward it when I needed to(although for some reason I never actually forwarded the Mnafredo Lacy fight!!?I guess I was expecting something exciting to happen!)
Sad to say I did.. I was already drunk, if that's an acceptable excuse I guess it was because I hadn't seen much of De Leon, the only two fights I did see were his 1'st round KO's of that Sod(?) Thai fighter, and Bautista.. Guess I expected something to happen at some point in that one as well.. But it completely turned me off De Leon for good. I love a good KO as much as anyone, but he is just such a crude slugger that he has no hope to do anything but land big looping punches. If he can't KO his opponent, your in for a long, boring night. Least that was the case in this fight, and I suspect it will be a continuing theme with him. I'm sure he has awesome power, because quite frankly if he didn't anyone with a pulse would box his head in. I seriously thought at times during the fight that if this guy didn't hit harder than I did, I'm not sure he could outbox ME
I was in the same boat bro plus I watched the Edner Cherry fight. Both fights were awful you mentioned, DPDL was just going for that one punch KO all night and could not find it while Manfredo was just happy to be fighting at the MGM Grand .
