At the end of the night I was not impressed with either Peterson brother or Green....They all need to work on some things before getting in with ANY of the names they called out....

I don't know what was going through Anthony Petersons mind....Calling out Kastidis...Diaz.....He would
be short work by both IMO

I would take Anthony over Katsidis personally without much hesitation. Katsidis has done nothing really, the guy's exciting but that doesn't mean he's that good of a fighter. I mean he really has not had to take a hard route to the top at all, Graham Earl, Amonsot, usually guys have to fight much better fighters to get a title shot than that.

Not that Peterson has fought very good guys at all but he's not getting a title shot either or being hyped up like Katsidis. I just think he's a better fighter personally.

Here is the post fight interview with Allan Green, at the end Teddy calls him on the looking down.

Someone had mentioned Jermain Taylor doing the same thing, JT's dosent look down or away, he touches his forehead and moves his upperbody. like it is a timing and rythm mechanism for him.. Green was just not focused and his tick is more of a detrimental distraction for him

Hell is Allan Green ever not sick

F***'s sake, he should just retire and go live at an assisted living home.

Although it seems like just a bit of a coincidence that the last time he really felt healthy was the Codrington fight.

At least though he acknowledges that the looking down is a bad habit and something he needs to correct.

Anybody notice him doing that before the Miranda fight, maybe he was doing it and I just didn't notice it.

Well at least it wasn't "I hurt my hand"
I really think it's doubts. He looked like he was over thinking everything and I still cant get over him touching and giving Williams Congrats after every round and during some.Ok,He's a nice guy and it could be good sportsman ship but come on!
Williams was made to look alot better than he Is. That rainman twitching s!!!! will catch up to Green if He does not get his mind right.

I have yet to see any of the fights, which probably watch them later but are there any Peterson fans out there? I have to admit,I have to followed their careerss at all and I'm not a big fan of Green at all but he has power.

Pretty much looked like shit to me Lazy as all hell, sluggish, totally lacking in any kind of motivation, ambition, etc.

But yeah besides that I agree with you on Green.

I don't really dislike the guy, I did at one point but not really anymore, he's fairly exciting, he's fought some decent guys, but I've always thought he was a bit overrated. He doesn't have very good defense, never has, not very good footwork (and I'm not even talking about the looking down thing) and he doesn't seem to have the greatest chin which is not a good combination. He's pretty good offensively though but I don't think he's one of the elite at 168.

The looking down thing is just inexplicable though. He's got to fix that, even if he does though I'm not sure he's a top guy.

Haaa,CC Ouma no doubt about that one.If Green fancy's himself a top tier threat he needs to step in and help the not sure they want to be in there types (Williams) find the f!!!!! door. Green would have some nice burst's in the early rounds and then out of no where step back ...pause........and look at him...WTF is that?

CC, I'd pick Anthony in a heartbeat as well.. either Peterson brother are simply far better schooled fighters than Kats..

Yeah well if Green thinks he is ready to step in with Bute or Calzaghe for a title shot he must be still dissy form the morphine he recieved in the hospital for pain after getting his colon out.....I give him a better chance with Bute but Joe has a field day with him from get go....I say Green gives Joe something to think about for 2 rds then Calzaghe turns it up for a stoppage

Didn't they come pretty close to making an Allan Green-Calzaghe fight a year or two ago?

Good thing they didn't, beatdown, would be shocked if Green even went 12.

I wonder if Green actually has terets, because he was even looking down during the interview...he should get a examination.
