let's face it. As a warm up fight for Witter,Diaz or Torres, Malignaggi makes more sense than Rees. Like you say marketing wise they're laughing all the way to the bank. NY seems to love Paulie. Big fight in MSG later in the year?

    I don't think so.

its kind of strange actually I was rewatching the Fight that Malignaggi had with Cano and the announcer said the kind of person that would give him the most trouble would be a tall lanky fighter that could negate his jab and he was right about the negating the jab part. Paulie was in tough tonight but he won.

Personally I'd rather see Malignaggi rematch this guy instead of fighting Lovemore again. lets see what happens

Herman got robbed. Knew this would happen in Atlantic City. Good fight though. Showtiem dropped the ball with no co feature. Why not show the Chazz Witherspoon fight?

    LOL Funny stuff. CC

I missed a great deal of the fight because today was my father's brithday and he wanted to watch the Steelers game.

I'd like to think that Malignaggi truly lost...

I heard it was a close fight,I'm going to watch it later. However,it's not as if Ngojdou wasn't lucky in getting a split decision over Randall Bailey,a fight in which nearly all ringside observers though the lost.

So much for malignaggi`s popularity and fan base, it looked and sounded like there was about 2000 people there. Ive seen more flies around shite! lol

Hatton should aim to fight him next, i`ve not seen much of Malignaggi but he showed absolutely nothing to suggest that he would beat Hatton on the basis of that fight.

Just think of Cotto wasnt weight drained when they fought he would of finished off this shitbag for good
It wasnt as much that Cotto was weight drained, it was the fact that Cotto broke his hand in the 5th. There was no mention of Cotto's broken hand in Paulies documentary and yet they could not stress enough about how Pualie would fight with hand injuries. Believe you me, had Cotto not broken his hand, Paulie would have been stopped in the 8th.

All Paulie does is jab, or quick punch and then hold his opponent. He did this all night long against Cotto and many confuse this with giving Cotto a tough time. Paulie is garbage and as he steps up the competition he will get beat worse.
