Well, that's why they say the sweet science is 70-80% mental, and Judah is lacking in that department when the waters are deep, at least for a couple of years now anyways. All fighters have flaws, but a mentally questionable fighter is probably at the biggest disadvantage, at least in the long run IMO.
100% correct Legion. Judah is one of the fastest fighters(handspeed wise) in the world, has decent power and good skills. However,he does not have the heart/determination that guys like Baldo have. For all intents and purposes,Baldo-Judah was a mismatch in every you look at it(fighters fought, records, titles and most importantly,a HUGE disparity in skills) but Baldo won. Why?He showed the heart and determination to come through whatever Judah threw at him to win.
Yep, look at guys like Quarry and Cobb. Lost alot of big fights, but never gave up and kept plodding forward. Though lacking in skills, the mental was always there, so respect to guys like that win or lose.

Boxing it seems has become the "well, IF he would have done this or that"......if, if, if. IF Judah had his mind right, he could beat anyone. He doesn't so he won't....end of story IMO.

That's why I like Pavlik so much; he is old school and win or lose from his flaws, it won't be because of mental, as he'll be there all night in that department. All the talent in the world won't help someone, as a mentally weak guy will get found out in the end. Mayweather is an ACE; he has been in situations where he could have panicked, and he stays as firm as a rock under pressure, while Judah goes into panic-land. That to me is what makes a true champion.
