3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
That's very true. I feel Skelton may well be ambitious and pushed for this fight, but I feel he's not expected to win so it won't be overly publicised.Originally Posted by Fenster

Paper titles dont mean a thing.
I have lost all interest in the HWD in the last few years.
Hatton and Calzaghe have shown you dont have to be a big man to be a British boxing superstar .
Balls
We are guarenteed a por spectacle everytime Skelton steps into the ring and thats another reason why this 1 has gone under the radar .
He has a little chance of winning but im sure it would get some interest if al of a sudden we had the WBA heavyweight champion and he was from England !
I don't fully agree, he's a poor technical fighter, who's been in some atrocious match ups, but I do feel he puts it all into his boxing and it's hardly his fault he's been in some stinkers. The first vs. Danny Williams was entertaining (as a spectacle rather than a boxing contest mind you)Originally Posted by GAME

Well I might just renege on that vow because I really am quite looking forward to this fight. Chagaev hasn't impressed me much in what he's done so far, and I don't see it out of the realms of possibility that Skelton could smother his work and out scrap him.Originally Posted by GAME
Wow and to think Skelton might be sporting the WBA strap that used to belong to Muhamad Ali a long time ago..Am I even allowed to mention those two in the same sentence!?![]()

I don't think anyone will ever say Skelton is a great technical fighter but he is somebody who came to boxing very late, about 36 years old or so, and tried his heart out when he fights. He has usually worn his opponents down and I feel this is his best but still slim chance for victory.
No matter what you say Skelton has beaten Sprott twice who took Chagaev to 8 rounds. For me Skelton is a bit more durable than Sprott, although Sprott can probably fiddle and fart his way through rounds better. Based on that Skelton may just last longer than the 8 rounds Sprott did.
Tip of the month: Protect yourselves at all times. You never know when the scheming bitch will come back for more.
Well Good Luck to him, he has his opportunity, take it.
