Better yet why don't you go make a Poll right now and see how many people agree that Miranda fought a dirty fight, and see how many thought he fought clean fight that way you can understand what im saying. Me sound foolish ?? when did i ever bring up the decision ?? i was pointing out Miranda fought a dirty fight and was lucky not to get DQ. I never said anything about the decision so i don't know what your trying to get at, i remember that almost everyone on this forum agreed that Miranda fought a dirty fight. And i respect and regard most of the members opinion's here very highly, because they know a lot about boxing and most of them have been watching boxing since i wasn't even born.Originally Posted by Pantera

It was still a blatant deliberate headbutt from Miranda, and he still deserved to have a point deduction. Go talk my dirty fight to someone who doesn't know what there talking about ?? most boxing fans who watched the fight considered it a very dirty fight from Miranda. Your the only one who i've seen saying Miranda boxed *Mostly Clean Fight* so basically all the knowledgeable boxing fans and all the boxing experts are wrong and your right yes ??Originally Posted by Pantera
You are dead wrong about the headbutt. Happens all the time with warnings.Originally Posted by Ice Cold Boxing
No they wouldn't that was a blatant deliberate headbutt from Miranda, he also threw many low blows in the fight and threw punches after the bell. If you think Miranda boxed mostly a clean fight then i think that is a joke. Ask anyone on this forum if they think Miranda fought a clean fight vs Abraham.Originally Posted by Pantera
Miranda DQ'd? That is a joke. Abraham was fouling as much, if not more than Edison. He was just allowed to get away with it. Other than the headbutt, which many refs would have let go with a warning, he fought a very clean fight. Yea, there were 1-2 shots on the beltline. But this is boxing. Happens all the damn time and usually is never called. Did he hit him one time in the nuts? Hell no, not even close! Abraham just pussied his way into selling fouls to the ref. Anywhere else but Germany the result of this fight is win for Miranda.Originally Posted by Ice Cold Boxing
Miranda was lucky he didn't get DQ in the Abraham fight, his fouling was a disgrace. I think Miranda did beat the stuffing out of Abraham and would of won without the point deductions. But i actually think Miranda was lucky he was allowed to even carry on i wouldn't say the ref was protecting Abraham. As for the Green fight i wasn't impressed with Miranda or Green especially Green though, because Green kept running and he showed no desire to win plus he kept looking at his shoes what the hell was that all about ?? even when Green dropped Miranda he showed no fire or any desire to even try and finish off Miranda.Originally Posted by Pantera

He was hailed for his performance against King Arthur and I just didn't get that. Any decent fighter who sees their opponents jaw hanging off their face after 5 rounds and still doesn't force a stoppage clearly has limited boxing ability. He's just a slugger.
I just don't rate Miranda as anything beyond a big punch. He'll probably beat Banks, as I expect Banks will have that deer in the headlights look about him come fight night but Miranda, like Jeff Lacy is one of those fighters whose aura has been shot to pieces and they will never be a force again.
Miranda is going to be a highlight reel KO for the next batch of prospects coming through.
If Banks comes close to winning this fight I will throw in the Pantera towel for good.
I completely disagree with almost everything you say. Miranda beat Abraham, if not for the protection from the ref he would have stopped him. In that fight Tyson would not have been able to finish the job. Allan may not have been 100%, but Edison dominated that fight and boxed Allan's ears off. At 100% there would be little difference. Edison came down from 210 to 160 in 6 weeks to make the Pavlik fight. He too was far from 100%, and even if he was I dunno if he coulda stopped Pavlik. But I think at 168lbs, a much better weight for him, he will carry his power and be more dangerous.
I respect your opinion, and we will continue to disagree until he proves one of us wrong. I am still a believer.
Miranda has never been that good IMO, he is very limited and was exposed in the Pavlik fight that he couldn't fight on the back foot. Im not saying Miranda is a bad fighter, but he has no real boxing skills and his defense is very sloppy.
Go watch the 5th round again. Even the dickhead Randy Neumann was letting the headbutt go as a warning until Abraham went to his corner crying.
He pulled them apart, told Miranda to 'Watch the Head' and was getting ready to resume the action. Abraham walks away selling it worse than it was. Neumann calls a halt and than decides to deduct 2 points.
So talk your dirty fight to someone who doesnt know what they are talking about. I would bet my dick that Neuman was paid off by Sauerland. It wouldnt be the first time. Been caught doing it before.
Show me a boxing expert that said Miranda fought dirty!
I guess you dont remember the controversy that came after the fight when EVERY North American boxing 'expert' (except for Graham Houston) thought Miranda got screwed. There were countless articles, from Dan Rafael to Greg Leon, from the WBO to the IBF, from the tops of HBO boxing to the commentators on ESPN.....
Say something else to make you sound foolish...
