Who knows why he didn't fight those two but I don't think it was because he was worried. As soon as he caught Patterson he would have KO'd him..Patterson would have had to make him miss for 15 rounds. He also probably would have taken Ingemar's best shots and come back with his own..that would have been a great fight!
I guess I like Rocky, he's not an inspiration to me or anything. Things that impress me :- His weightower ratio, his chin, his determination and the fact he remained undefeated even though he was quite limited as far as boxing goes. Definitely not top 5 ATG for me..purely based on opposition but thats not his fault.
