In response to El Gamo, i understand your point, but boxing is a business and boxers are business men. Of course we all want to see the best fight the best but I don't blame a fighter for rejecting a fight when he knows there is a SERIOUS chance that he will get laid out, especially if the fighter does not need the money.
If you have that mentality and hypothetically,if the majority of fighters had the business mentality,we would never have seen Corrales and Castillo,Marquez and Vazquez etc and we instead would be fed many many more events like Oscar Floyd 2:which is EXACTLY whay you describe. 2 businessmen, who don't need money but also don't want to risk v anyone else.So they'll fight each other, come out of the fight looking almost as they did when they went in and laugh their way to the bank with YOUR $$$ If you're happy with that then boxing in serious trouble.

All I can say is thanks goodness for fighters like Cotto,Williams,Margarito,Pavlik,Taylor etc etc who will fight anyone, anywhere and have shown that you can still fight tough fights, fights yo're not a favourite in,and win,AND make $$$
