Can u imagine the shit u guys would fling at PBF if he decided to fight Gomez?
Well eagle I'm not sure where to start here but here goes.
For starters Cotto has never claimed to be P4P #1 in the world, PBF has and is P4P #1 in the world so right off the bat its expected that the #1 P4P fighter in the world take on the toughest challengers out there hence why hes P4P #1.

If you notice Cottos quality of opposition has moved up and regardless of what people say the SSM was leaps and bounds for him. I mean think people actually say SSM won that fight that alone tells you how much a fighter SSM still is not only that but you have to see the Collazo performace to know that he could still perform at that high of a level. Also belive you me, that if and when SSM fights again he'll win and he'll perform very well. Remember this talk eagle.

Not sure if you ever saw the Cotto-Zab thread and how many people here thought Zab was gonna win and Zab was a huge test for Cotto. I personally didn't think so SweetPea and I had a really good debate in that thread it was like 16 pgs. long the thread and I said Cotto would never get credit for beating Zab once he beats him.

Quintana was Cottos 1st fight at 147, I mean Quintana was a champ and it was his step up fight, PBF fought Sharmba a blown up Welter for his 1st fight at 147? You tell me.....
Oktay was his mandatory so he had to fight him, he had no choice. He beat him and that's what matters in the end.

This is a gimmie fight, Gomez is to Cotto what Augustus was to PBF in 2000.
hey Mick no disrespect was so ever You kind od look like a bit like Gomez
