Well the question can go either way....Why shouldn't he be considered a threat still....A close fight with Clottey means nothing...Clottey will give anyone a close fight...I pick him over Cintron TBH...Clottey is a very good fighter who has never been beaten soundly and the Tony fight is his only real loss...he has 2 losses but he was beating Baldomir soundly before the DQ...He is a decent puncher and has a great chin...I don't see anyone just blowing him out with the exception of Floyd and that is based on speed nothing else....

Tony had a close fight with Williams..Williams did not blow him out...If Tony did not wait so long to get his ass in gear he still would be wearing the title...he did not lose by more then 2 points on 2 of the cards...one card was a bit off giving Williams a 4 advantage...

So with that being said..a close fight with a top contender and a close fight with a guy who many consider among the elite I don't see the signs of not being in the mix...or being worthy....Tony is only 29 he has alot in him
