Right hook and uppercut from Pickering, and Hughes seemed to be turning away. They exchange jabs, and Hughes with his first meaningful shot of the round. Hughes with a flurry of five or six shots, but Pickering;s movement means only one glances him. Pickering with short hooks on the inside. Right to the body but Hughes puts in a decent right hook counter. Much more work from Pickering.
