I can't say it often enough, but I love British boxing on nights like this. Amazing fight, commitment from both guys, resilience, determination, stubbornness and it was just the total antithesis of Skelton v Sprott involving tomorrow night's protagonist. Superb stuff, and exactly what why there needs to be a boxing scene outside of Frank Warren's domain of mismatches.

As for the post fight interview....here's what Esham Pickering had to say:
"It was better than last time, but there's still a little to work on. I thought I was lacklustre at times, but I won the fihgt and I'm happy with that. He did have an awkward style, though not necessarily a puncher. THere's a lot more to come from me, now I've avenged that loss. I'm still British champion and I have one more fight till that belt's mine for keeps."
