Its just speculation on my part, but I don't see why ARum doesn't throw out a huge some of money to have Cotto fight Mayweather, I think by Cotto saying he lets Arum choose who he fights, instead of chosing himself is hurting him. If Cotto say look Bob I am not fighting unless I get Mayweather, I am sure Arum could make a big enough deal for Mayweather to fight him, but like everyone else has seen I don't think Arum deep down believes that Cotto can beat Floyd.

As others have stated...Arum aint no dummy. I don't believe that he wants to see this fight happen. Truthfully...if you're (not just you...broad statement) a Cotto fan....you shouldn't want this fight to happen...not right now atleast.

I'm a fan of Cotto since day one...but I can say the same for Floyd. I don't want to see the fight because I don't want to see Floyd handle Cotto...& I think that he would. While I would'nt relate Cotto to Hatton because I believe Cotto is a much superior boxer to Hatton's brawler bull in style...one can't help but use the performance for a POV. Same could be said for the Cotto Mosley fight...but Floyd is much fresher & faster on his feet than Mosley. Cotto is a much better & stronger fighter all around than Hatton.

That being said...I could see the fight going the stretch & Floyd eating some heavy uppers from Cotto...but still outworking him down the stretch. It would be a grueling night for both...but again..I don't want to see Cotto handled.

I don't believe that Arum does either.
