How come Nigel Benn and Julian Jackson never fought?

The two hardest hitting British Middleweights of all time never met up. Why not? And what if they had? "The Hawk" vs. "The Dark Destroyer", what a slugfest that woulda been. Woulda been over quick too I would imagine.

For a guy with over 6000 posts , you thought Julian Jackson was British
obviously u have never heard him speak as he has a typically west Indian Afro - Caribbean accent.
But at middle Jackson KO'S Benn in 1. but hell it could have gone either way , Benn had great power but Jackson remains the hardest 1 shot hitter in history for me.
