However,I still stand by my original statement. Jones was the bigger man and it showed. Against B Hop and JC in particular,he would not have as much of an advantage. I agree his speed was good,in single shots. I'm pretty confident in saying that Calzaghe would totally outwork him and win an easy UD. JC fights 3 minutes of every round,Jones doesn't. I'd love to see Jones beat up B Hop but I think Hop is too wiley for Jones at this stage in their careers,he would pick off Jone single shots and would counter Jones. I have zero interest in that fight,it would be a snooze fest imo.

As for Tito,he was game but he was ultimately over matched. Where does he go from here? Who knows. I don't think his power is effective at this weight and I don't think he can hang with the elite 168 pounders nor make 160. I would say retire but I know he won't.

Id like to see a return too .

So did you enjoy the fight last night Gamo ? I thought it was too one sided to be enjoyable
Unfortunately my friend,I can't say I overly enjoyed it either. It was...alright.That sums it up perfectly. First few rounds were competetive, next 9 were one sided. Jones could do as he wanted, when he wanted and Tito could do nothing to stop him. Jones wasn't interested in the KO,Tito didn't have the power to hurt Jones, things became too samey, round after round.

I didn't see any real fire from either fighter.
I totally disagree i thought it was a good fight, and a lot better than everyone expected. Jones stood toe to toe and it made for an exciting fight. Even when Jones took over Tito would bravely try and fire back, Tito's left hook to the body was his money punch. And i disagree with your last comment as well. I think both fighters showed plenty of fire, Jones has been very gun shy lately, but he come out last night and showed a good range of offensive skills and comeback when he was losing the fight. Even Tito when he was starting to lose a grip on the fight didn't get discouraged and would still fire back.

Tito can easily go back down to 160 and be a force, and Jones should for certain take on the winner of Hopkins vs Calzaghe. I think people are being bit harsh on Tito and Jones. Just remember what we was all saying about how boring the fight would be and etc. But both men gave us an exciting fight even though they are both well past there prime big props from me for both fighters i certainly enjoyed it very much.
