Yes, he's definitely lost some of his speed. In his prime, he was one of the fastest fighters PFP in history. Now, he is just well above-average speed wise, he doesn't have that all-time type speed anymore.

People who think Jones hasn't lost any speed need to download one of his fights from 10 years ago.
He is still faster than Calzaghe.
He's faster during the 60 seconds of a round when he can let his hands go. During the other 2 minutes when he needs to rest, he's not.
Completely agree here Sweet if you notice RJJ has great speed for about a minute spur but once he's used it up forget it he's just average.
You also have to take in consideration, that he was concerned with pacing himself after having the fight of his life getting down to 170. At 175 he just might be able to gauge his stamina much better and have much better output. At no time did he seem winded at 170 as he took some time off during rounds, but I think he was just being cautious to insure he had stamina later in the fight, and also to let Tito get a bit arm weary. Tito was carrying a lot of sting in his punches, especially early. You could hear the thud of his shots landing to Roy's body.
